Irgafos 168 ist ein sekundäres Phosphit-Antioxidans. Es dient zum Schutz von Polymeren und Kunststoffen vor thermischem und oxidativem Abbau während der Verarbeitung und trägt dazu bei, Farbe und mechanische Eigenschaften zu bewahren. Es wird auch als Antioxidans und Stabilisator für Polyolefine, Polyurethan, ABS, PET, PMMA, Polyamid, Polycarbonat und Polystyrol verwendet. Es ist ein weißes bis cremefarbenes, frei fließendes Pulver oder Granulat.
