El adipato de bis(2-etilhexilo), o DOA, es un plastificante de adipato. Se utiliza en PVC y cauchos sintéticos para brindar flexibilidad a bajas temperaturas y baja volatilidad. Otras aplicaciones incluyen el uso como solvente y en fluidos hidráulicos y lubricantes para aviones. También sirve como plastificante en películas de PVC para envolver alimentos.
