Bis(2-ethylhexyl)adipaat, of DOA, is een adipaatweekmaker. Het wordt gebruikt in PVC en synthetische rubbers voor flexibiliteit bij lage temperaturen en lage vluchtigheid. Andere toepassingen zijn onder meer het gebruik als oplosmiddel en in hydraulische vloeistoffen en vliegtuigsmeermiddelen. Het dient ook als weekmaker in PVC-voedselverpakkingsfolies.
