L'antioxydant 2246 est un bisphénol à pont méthylène et un antioxydant phénolique. D'autres applications incluent les adhésifs stabilisants, les polyoléfines, l'ABS, le polypropylène et le polyacétal. Il sert également d’antioxydant cosmétique.
