Calciumfluoride is een anorganisch calciumzout. Het komt voor als wit poeder of kubische kristallen. De oplosbaarheid in water is 0,0015 g per 100 mL bij 18 °C. Het is de belangrijkste bron van fluor en fluorverbindingen. Het wordt gebruikt in de staal-, glas- en keramische industrie en als vloeimiddel. Cosmetisch gebruik is onderworpen aan de voor het ingrediënt geldende cosmeticavoorwaarden.
