Ze bestaat voornamelijk uit de C10H16-terpeenkoolwaterstoffen α-pineen, β-pineen, limoneen, 3-careen en camfeen. Cosmetisch gebruik is onderworpen aan de voor het ingrediënt geldende cosmeticavoorwaarden.
