N,N'-Methylenebisacrylamide is a white crystalline powder with a neutral odour. It serves as an organic intermediate and as a cross-linking agent in the manufacture of polyacrylamides. It is also used to prepare polyacrylamide gels for electrophoresis and in chemical grouting.
