Sustainability & Compliance
Compliance isn't a feature we add at the end — it's the floor we build on. As we scale toward direct imports, REACH is the legal key to the EU market, and we treat it that way from day one.
Regulatory compliance
Before we quote, we confirm each substance is REACH-registered (EC 1907/2006) for the relevant tonnage band by the manufacturer or importer, and we flag any Authorisation (Annex XIV) or Restriction (Annex XVII) status. For non-EU origin we manage registration via an Only Representative (OR) channel. Every consignment ships with a current SDS and CLP (EC 1272/2008) classification and labelling, moved under ADR by accredited, Seveso-compliant logistics partners. Biocidal actives fall under the BPR (528/2012); cosmetic inputs follow EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009 with INCI naming; pharma excipients are USP/EP grade with CoA and, where applicable, GMP/GDP. We monitor the ECHA Candidate List and notify affected customers within two business days of a new SVHC listing.
Responsible sourcing
Our value is knowledge and network, not warehoused tonnage. Sourcing direct and routing efficiently removes the double-handling and speculative stockpiling that drive waste in traditional distribution. We prioritise producers with credible quality systems, run a returnable-IBC pilot to cut single-use packaging, and consolidate freight to reduce empty-running.
What we don’t claim
We do not yet hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EcoVadis or Responsible Care. ISO 9001 is our first target as our SOPs mature; environmental certifications follow. We’d rather show an honest audit trail than a badge we haven’t earned.
