Acetyltributylcitraat, of ATBC, is een citraatesterweekmaker. Het wordt gebruikt in vinylharsen, rubber en celluloseharsen. Toepassingen zijn onder meer flexibel PVC, verpakkingsfolies, speelgoed en farmaceutische coatings. Het dient ook als hulpstof en wordt gebruikt in geselecteerde cosmetische formuleringen. Cosmetisch gebruik is onderworpen aan de voor het ingrediënt geldende cosmeticavoorwaarden. Farmaceutisch gebruik vereist de toepasselijke farmacopeekwaliteit.
