Poloxamer 188 is een niet-ionische oppervlakteactieve stof uit triblokcopolymeer die functioneert als emulgator, solubilisator en dispersiestabilisator in farmaceutische, cosmetische en industriële formuleringen. Het is een witte tot lichtgele wasachtige vaste stof of vlokken. Het polymeer is een blokcopolymeer van ethyleenoxide en propyleenoxide.
