Acetone is a volatile ketone solvent. It is used in coatings, adhesives, cleaning and extraction. It also serves as a chemical intermediate for methyl methacrylate and bisphenol A. Other applications include nail-polish removers and organic synthesis. The material is a clear, colourless liquid. Recorded grades include technical, reagent, ACS, HPLC, cosmetic and pharma. Packaging formats include 160 kg steel drums, 800 kg IBCs and ISO tanks. Cosmetic use is subject to the applicable cosmetic-ingredient conditions.
