Acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer is a hydrophobically modified acrylate polymer. It is used as a rheology modifier and clear-gel thickener in skin care and hair care. It also stabilises oil-in-water emulsions in sunscreens and other cosmetic formulations, with further use in surfactant gels. The material is a white to off-white powder. Packaging formats include 20 kg cartons, 25 kg bags and 25 kg fibre drums. Cosmetic use is subject to the applicable cosmetic-ingredient conditions.
