Alkyd resin is a polyester resin modified with fatty acids or drying oils. It serves as a film-forming binder in architectural paints and industrial coatings. The resin also acts as a binder in enamels and varnishes. The raw resin material is a viscous liquid with a yellow to amber colour. Packaging formats include 200 kg steel drums, 1000 kg intermediate bulk containers and bulk.
