Bis(2-ethylhexyl) adipate, or DOA, is an adipate plasticiser. It is used in PVC and synthetic rubbers for low-temperature flexibility and low volatility. Other applications include use as a solvent and in hydraulic fluids and aircraft lubricants. It also serves as a plasticiser in PVC food-wrapping films. Recorded grades are technical, food-contact and cosmetic. Packaging formats include 190 kg steel drums, 900 kg IBCs and ISO tanks.
