Butyl diglycol acetate is a high-boiling glycol ether ester. It is used as a coalescing aid in architectural coatings. It also serves as a heavy solvent in printing inks and as a solvent for oils, resins and lacquers. The material is a colourless liquid with a mild odour. The recorded grade is industrial. Packaging formats include 200 kg steel drums, 1000 kg IBCs and bulk.
