Dicumyl peroxide, or DCP, is an organic peroxide used in polymer processing. It serves as a cross-linking and curing agent for polyethylene, EPDM rubber and other elastomers. Applications include wire and cable insulation compounds and vulcanisation of natural and synthetic rubber. It also acts as a flame-retardant synergist in polystyrene foams. The recorded grade is technical. Packaging formats include 20 kg cartons and 25 kg cartons.
