Diisononyl cyclohexane-1,2-dicarboxylate, or DINCH, is a non-phthalate plasticiser. It is used in flexible PVC for food-contact materials, including cling films and artificial corks. Other applications include toys, medical devices and consumer goods. The material is a colourless liquid that is practically insoluble in water. Recorded grades are technical, food-contact and pharma. Packaging formats include 200 kg steel drums, 1000 kg IBCs and bulk. Pharmaceutical use requires the applicable pharmacopoeia grade.
