Irgafos 168 is a phosphite secondary antioxidant. It is used to protect polymers and plastics from thermal and oxidative degradation during processing, helping to preserve colour and mechanical properties. It is also used as an antioxidant and stabiliser for polyolefins, polyurethane, ABS, PET, PMMA, polyamide, polycarbonate and polystyrene. It is a white to off-white free-flowing powder or granules.
