Oxidised polyethylene wax is a synthetic polar wax obtained by the oxidation of polyethylene. It provides dispersion, lubrication and gloss-enhancing properties and is used as a processing aid in plastics, a slip agent in coatings and inks and a performance additive in adhesives and textile finishes. It is a white to pale yellow powder or fine granules. Recorded grades include micronized.
