Polypropylene glycol is a liquid polyether glycol. It is used as a polyurethane intermediate and as a lubricant. Other functions include defoamer, carrier and formulation component in industrial and personal-care products. It is a clear, colourless to pale-yellow viscous liquid. Recorded grades are industrial, technical and cosmetic. Packaging formats include 200 kg steel drums, 1000 kg IBCs and ISO tanks. Cosmetic use is subject to the applicable cosmetic-ingredient conditions.
