Propargyl Alcohol appears as a clear colourless to pale-yellow liquid. Propargyl alcohol is an acetylenic alcohol. It is used as a corrosion inhibitor in industrial acid cleaning and oilfield well stimulation. It also serves as an intermediate for pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. Other uses include solvent stabilisation and the prevention of hydrogen embrittlement in steel. Packaging options include 200 kg steel drums, 1000 kg IBCs and ISO tanks. Pharmaceutical use requires the applicable pharmacopoeia grade.
