Other applications include water softening, acidic-gas scrubbing, glass manufacturing and paper pulping. It also serves in leather processing and sugar clarification. Recorded grades are food, pharma and Ph. Eur. Packaging formats include 25 kg bags, 1000 kg big bags and bulk. Use in sugar processing is subject to applicable food-processing requirements.
