Cocamide DEA is a coconut-derived nonionic surfactant based on fatty-acid diethanolamide. It provides foam stabilisation and viscosity building in liquid detergent formulations. It is also used as a surfactant in shampoos and industrial cleaning products. The recorded grades are cosmetic and industrial. Packaging formats include drums containing 25 kg, drums containing 200 kg and intermediate bulk containers containing 1000 kg. Cosmetic use is subject to the applicable cosmetic-ingredient conditions.
