Cocamide DEA is een niet-ionische oppervlakteactieve stof op basis van kokosvetzuurdiethanolamide. Het stabiliseert schuim en verhoogt de viscositeit in vloeibare wasmiddelen. Andere toepassingen zijn shampoos en industriële reinigingsproducten. Cosmetisch gebruik is onderworpen aan de voor het ingrediënt geldende cosmeticavoorwaarden.
