d-Limonene is a cyclic monoterpene hydrocarbon and a principal odour constituent of citrus peel oil. It is used as a solvent, degreaser and wetting agent in household and industrial cleaners. Other applications include metal degreasing, fragrances, food flavourings and resin manufacturing. The material is a clear, colourless mobile liquid with a lemon-like odour. Recorded grades include technical, food, fragrance and high-purity. Packaging formats include 25 kg drums, 200 kg drums and 1000 kg IBCs. Food use is subject to the applicable food-additive specification and permitted-use conditions.
