Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether, or DPM, is a glycol ether solvent. It is also used as a solvent for nitrocellulose and synthetic resins, in hydraulic brake fluids and as a carrier in cosmetics. The material is a clear, colourless liquid with a mild ether-like odour. Recorded grades include industrial, technical, cosmetic and high-purity. Packaging formats include 190 kg steel drums and 950 kg IBCs. Cosmetic use is subject to the applicable cosmetic-ingredient conditions.
