Other applications include use as a process solvent in pharmaceutical manufacturing and film coatings and as a metal-cleaning agent. The material is a clear, colourless, highly volatile liquid. Recorded grades are technical, pharma and HPLC. Packaging formats include 250 kg steel drums and ISO tanks. Pharmaceutical use requires the applicable pharmacopoeia grade.
