Triethanolamine Esterquat is a biodegradable cationic surfactant based on esterified triethanolamine, used as the softening active in fabric softener formulations, where it provides softening, antistatic and ease-of-ironing benefits. It is a pale yellow to amber viscous liquid or waxy solid. Packaging formats include 200 kg plastic drum, 1000 kg IBC, 25 kg bag. TEAQ is the abbreviation used for this triethanolamine esterquat.
