Sodium toluene sulfonate is a hydrotrope and coupling agent, also known as sodium p-toluenesulfonate. It improves the solubility and clarity of surfactant systems in liquid detergents, shampoos and industrial cleaners. It also functions as an anticaking agent in powder detergents. Its physical appearance is a white crystalline powder or clear liquid solution. Packaging formats include 25 kg bags or drums, 200 kg drums, 1000 kg IBCs and bulk. Cosmetic use is subject to the applicable cosmetic-ingredient conditions.
